About the position
Positive Learning Field Sales Representatives play a key role in furthering the mission of the company and transforming learning for English Language Learners. Develop and maintain business within a designated territory, consistently achieving and exceeding sales revenue targets.
Engage potential clients in meaningful discussions regarding their district goals and how Positive Learning’s offerings can best support these goals.
Manage prospects and customer relationships to maximize customer exuberance and revenue.
Employ effective selling techniques including pre-call planning, effective opening, and productive questioning strategies that lead to a close.
Accurately forecast sales in assigned territory by developing and maintaining a sales pipeline and following the company’s sales process.
Track and manage all contact and opportunity information in company’s CRM program.
Maintain expert product knowledge around Positive Learning products, the educational industry, and factors influencing the market environment.
Demonstrate teamwork through sharing of best practices and working with cross functional teams.
Mid-to-Senior level sales professional with 2 to 5+ years experience
Bachelor’s degree preferred, but not required.
Consultative business to business sales experience; enterprise software sales experience in the K-12 education market preferred.
Superb organizational and follow-up abilities
Strong interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills
Exceptional, on-site and online presentation skills - to both small and large groups
Ability to assess territory to devise sales and account plan for achieving and exceeding territory growth goals
Ability to build and maintain strong relationships
Ability to negotiate mutually beneficial solutions for Positive Learning and clients using effective sales techniques
Comfortable using and learning technology. Proficient in using a CRM, G-Suite, MS Office, or similar tools.
Travel within sales territory and to corporate HQ as needed.
